Guest room had an exceptionally comfortable bed. There were a seating area, an iron and ironing board, and a work desk too. Location: the hotel was really close to the venue's restaurant, The Knotty Grill, and dining options and shopping options and easy access to Austin downtown.

We didn't get the room we booked and the we were kept up most of the night by all the people talking down in the open area of the hotel as well as the people in the rooms next to us. The walls and doors are to thin.

The location was excellent. The large and comfortable King or Double Room was a highlight, and the check-in experience was improved with a friendly receptionist. There were considerable issues with billing that left a negative impression, including a significant hold on my credit card. A lack of effective communication from management regarding the problem was frustrating and disappointing.

Convenient cafés are a quick walk away. Take note-ordering poolside can be tricky during the week. Plan ahead and order from inside. The overall experience was positive despite a few hiccups.
